Java/Tomcat Braindamage

Just now I spent four hours trying to figure out why after I made some changes to a STRUTS app it stopped working. It turned out that Tomcat keeps cached Java code ACROSS RESTARTS. That meant that it was taking bytecode it compiled for my sessionid four hours ago. To make it more confusing it did partially recompile it, but did cache DynaActionForm settings!!!

Now that doesn't happen often, but now I feel really pissed off. rm -rf to /var/cache/tomcat5 ...

It has happened. I have cleaned up my flat (*).

* It means that dust levels are below the critical threshold and allow close friends to be invited.

About headphones

Yesterday I went to the nearest electrical shop and purchased a pair of Phillips headphones for 15 CYP. I listened to them once. I don't think I will ever listen to them again. It was foolish from me to expect my ears to tolerate cheap stuff...
Probably I'll buy these instead. Good sound requires investment and prior research.
