Silver Needle in the Skype

— Posted by hazard @ 30-04-2006 00:26
I found a very interesting paper on Skype presented on Black Hat Europe 2006 conference. Scary too. I guess secure communication is one of the clear cases where open source software has an inherent advantage for the user...

  1. With all the troubles in software, I lean towards the 'open user' option. I just don't care anymore about people finding out my stuff. Like, the best way to hide something is to put it in the most obvious place.

Works pretty good for me. :)

  2. There is no proof that it works good for you get a real enemy ... :)

  3. That's the trick! Noone wants to fight me, because they all think it'll be trivial to win. No sport.

If you have to go to war, you've already lost. Some Chinese general said that. :)
